Cathy Read as had a highly successful career in corporate marketing with expertise in product positioning and display.
When her children came along, Cathy applied this vast experience to helping others promote their doll art businesses, which was then an industry in its infancy. Fast forward 20 years and Cathy is the Founder of The Discover Dolls magazine (ets 2007), running 9 international doll shows a year, publishing the bi annual discover dolls guide to artists & more recently launching the Discover Dolls Marketplace.
Cathy is the only dedicated specialist to marketing in the Doll Industry.
Cathy has represented household named brands such as the supermarket chain Sainsbury and cosmetic brand Nivea. She has a wealth of knowledge in defining and shaping your brand identity as an artist, and how to promote it effectively to grow your doll business.
