Heathrow Airport (LHR) – 60 miles

Britain’s busiest airport (Heathrow) is about a 70 minute drive away. We have a contract with a fixed rate with a local trusted airport transfer service for £140 for a car – sharing is a good idea to split costs.

You can also connect from all terminals at Heathrow with a very convenient coach to Southampton City centre from £18 per person, but would need to get between Southampton and Romsey, so allow for a £28 taxi. The taxis are right outside the coach station. This coach should be prebooked to get the lowest price. They even put your bags into the storage underneath for you – its very convenient!

There is also a train route but it is no cheaper or quicker than the coach. Message me to find out more about it.

Heathrow offers flights to the whole world with multiple airlines.

Gatwick Airport) – 90 miles

Sometimes offering cheaper flights, Gatwick is about a 1hr40min minute drive away. We have a contract with a fixed rate with a local trusted airport transfer service for £160 for a car – sharing is a good idea to split costs.

Gatwick is well connected by rail. The journey to Romsey is approx 2hr 30min (2 changes) and costs from £28 if prebooked. This journey is really quite scenic and worth trying to schedule during the daytime. Weekend travel is cheaper but slower.

Gatwick offers flights to the whole world with multiple airlines including many budget options.
